Action Items:
Speeding on Ross Ave. -Residents at Geneva Dr/ Ross Ave feel like there is still a
lot of speeding. The battery on the flashing speed limit sign may have to be
upgraded and replaced. Sgt. Fielding said they can increase patrols. We have
done everything we can. No Motion.
2. Traffic concerns on Wildwood Lane (Centennial Ranch) -Ken Bailey at 1606
Wildwood Ln and Terry Baxter at 1632 Wildwood Ln are concerned about
speeding and reckless driving. He asked the Mayor if they could have speed
bumps. No speed bumps we can put a radar sign out to collect data or put the
portable trailer out for speed and traffic count. Sgt. Fielding will try to increase
presence there.
Discussion Items:
1. The Council's thoughts on parking regulations for the period of the Snow
Proclamation and Snow Events -Abatement for residents to shovel sidewalks. No
change to parking regulations.
2. Traffic Signal at Midway Ave/ 17th St -No, but will get more data. Morgan -Data
doesn't warrant it. Tracy- It is too close to the lights at 17th St/Curlew Dr and
17th St/Ammon Rd.
3. Hillview Village -Data gathered from the speed trailer before the speed bumps
were installed and data gathered again 3 weeks after installation showed a drop
of 5 mph with no decrease in traffic volume. The speed bumps have been
removed for winter.
