Call to Order: Micah Austin, City Administrator, at 9:05 a.m
In Attendance: Micah Austin, Tracy Bono, Cindy Donovan, Clarissa Mueller, Sgt. Kyle
Fielding
Minutes: October 11, 2023 -Approved
Citizens' Requests: Speed bumps on Eagle and the resident also wants some of the
speed bumps on Rawson where the kids get picked up. Commission said no.
Street Division Updates: Misc.-All signage is up except for the 2 on Ard Dr. Everything
in Hillview is done. Tracy and Tony agree that dropping the speed limit to 15 mph on
Eagle is warranted. After speed bumps are installed the camera will be put back up to
gather data. We have received positive feedback on them. The round -a -bout rubber is
here. It will be put in at Derrald Ave/Eagle Dr with standard round -a -bout signage.
The 4 way stop at Millcreek Ln looks good and is so much safer.
Action Items:
1. Consideration of a Traffic Signal at Midway Ave/ 17th St -Discussed and decided
against it. Do more harm than good. A traffic study will be done. Table it and
get more data.
Discussion Items:
1. Traffic concerns on Eagle Dr -Speed bumps are installed, signs are up, and the
round -a -bout will be in. Off the agenda.
2. The Council's thoughts on parking regulations, no parking 6 a.m.-6 p.m., for
the duration of the Snow Proclamation and Snow Events? They were in favor
and willing to do that. It will be brought up to the Council again. Tracy -We will
be plowing to the center on arterials.
3. Cindy -Flashing speed light on Ross Ave is not working. The battery is dead.
