AGENDA CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Scott Wessel Pledge of Allegiance: Cindy Donovan MINUTES: NONE PUBLIC HEARINGS: NONE th ACTION ITEMS: Site Plan – 2727 E 14 N DISCUSSION ITEMS: NONE REPORTS: NONE Call for Adjournment: MINUTES Members Present: Rick Butler Cindy Donovan Rob Jagielski Steve Richards Scott Wessel City Officials Present: Ron Folsom, Planning Director Lance Bates, Engineer Members Absent: Josh Cunningham Tom Hunsaker Greg Maeser Robert Taylor CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Scott Wessel at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall building located at 2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. Lance Bates led the Pledge of Allegiance. MINUTES: None PUBLIC HEARINGS: None ACTION ITEMS: 1. Site Plan – 2727 E 14th N – Ron explained the reason for the meeting, and said the developer was anxious to get the building started before the ground froze. Waiting until the November 6th meeting would mean the developer would have to wait until spring. Lance presented the site plan and explained what that the use was going to be for painting and repairing large body trucks and trailers. The bays would be pull-through and that there had been a 50’ driveway cutout approved for the size of the units to be worked on. Parking is in compliance with the requirements and landscaping and sidewalks will be included as required. There will be one section approximately twelve (12) feet in length that will not have landscaping. Lance has agreed to allow the developer to leave it out so in the event a longer than normal trailer is brought in the landscaping will not be destroyed. Additionally, there is an area in front of the utility boxes that will have slightly smaller than the five (5) foot requirement for sidewalks where there is not an option to wrap around the boxes as we have required in the past. The property connects via an easement to property on Lincoln Road that is not in the 12 Planning and Zoning Minutes 10.10.2013 Page of City. Staff review of this layout is complete unless Planning and Zoning has questions or concerns. Commissioner Steve Richards moved to recommend to the City Council to approve Site Plan – 2727 E 14th N. Commissioner Rick Butler seconded. All in favor – the motion passed.
