The minutes of March 7, 1995, were presented for approval.
Jim Southwick motioned they be approved as written with Roger
Stommel seconding the motion. Voting was unanimous. The
motion carried.
The first item of business was a plot plan presented by
Steve Marano. The request was for permission to construct a
building on property located directly East of 2510 E. 1st
Street for the purpose of operating a daycare school. It was
explained there was no sewer or water supplied to the property.
Mr. Marano had obtained permits from District 7 to drill a well
and install a sewer/septic system. He was further reminded
that an agreement with the City was required. He was also
informed the parking lot must be paved. Public Works Director
Wadsworth stated the road should be paved at a minimum of
thirty-two (32) feet. Benton agreed, stating dedicated widths
of sixty (60) feet should be paved at forty (40) feet and fifty
(50) feet widths paved at thirty-two (32) feet.
Jim Southwick motioned to recommend to City Council
approval of the presented plot plan of said property lying
directly East of 2510 E. 1st Street, with the stipulation the
access roadway off 1st Street be used for just this one
building and not be dedicated to the City until such a time the
entire property is platted. Kathy Dansie seconded the motion.
Voting was unanimous. The motion carried.
