The first item discussed on the agenda was Mark O. Duncan - request for sideyard
variance. Mr. Duncan explained that he is requesting a variance so he can build a 14-foot
garage onto his house at 3775 Geneva. A IO-foot garage is not wide enough to accommodate his
car. Two of his neighbors have been granted variances for the same purpose. After discussion of
Commission members, Ron Folsom moved to recommend to the City Council approval of a
variance for Mark Duncan. This would allow a 4-foot sideyard and space to build a 14-foot
garage. Greg Maeser seconded the motion and it passed with the unanimous approval of the
commiSSion.
Kevin Murray reported on activities of the Bonneville County Planning and Zoning
Commission.
