PUBLIC HEARINGS:
None
ACTION ITEMS:
None
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Chapter 19 – Uses and future changes:
Commissioner Hunsaker prepared a list splitting current uses allowed in the
RSC zone into low impact on residences vs. destination stores. Ron believes that if we have this zone, no other commercial zone
should be allowed to have residential use. The Commission will come up with a different name for this zone, but it will not be called a
multi - use zone. The zone should be restrictive, and be appealing to the eye to go along with the area that is already developed; size
such as counter space, sound levels, exterior lighting, on and off street parking, number of employees, and indoor seating for food
establishments should restricted. Discussion ensued regarding whether to take out specific types of businesses that currently can be put
in this zone and how developers can build in the development. The Commission will review and write down their suggestions so at the
next meeting they can discuss ideas.
