Vice-Chairn1an Ron Folsom opened the Public Hearing to consider the request of Marlene
Hatton and Carole Miller, sisters, to annex their property on the north side of East 17th
Street adjacent to Centennial Ranch Division No. 7 and the proposed Division No.8.
Individuals, who desired to speak during the hearing, were sworn in.
Notice of Hearing was published in the Post Register on August 21 and August 28, 1999. Also,
notices of the hearing were mailed to property owners within three hundred (300) feet.
Carole Miller, property owner, explained the request. Carole owns about one and one-half acres
and Marlene Hatton owns the remainder of a forty-acre parcel. The purpose for requesting
annexation is to allow her to connect to the sewer and water when they are extended to serve
. Centennial Ranch Div. No, 7 and Eagle Pointe.
