DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Wind Turbines:

turbines. Commissioner Robert Taylor motioned to table the wind turbines, until Gary could be at the meeting.
Commissioner Scott Wessel seconded the motion. All in favor – the motion passed.
2. Comprehensive Plan Draft:
Ron stated there was nothing new on the comprehensive plan. Ron would like to have
a hearing by May, on the plan, after the census data comes in and the map is drawn.
REPORTS:
1. City Council Actions:
Ron reported on what has happened in Council for the month of January. Lance reported on
the progress of the SCADA Building and the benefits of having this building.
2. City of Idaho Falls Planning and Zoning Actions
– Cindy Donovan reported that the Idaho Falls Planning &
Zoning Commission is basically operating in the same mode as we are – their recent meetings have been spent on
planning.
3. Bonneville County Planning and Zoning Actions –
Tom Hunsaker reported on three items outside of the Ammon
impact area, with the rest of the County meeting spent on planning.
Ron asked the Commission to think about allowing patio homes. He has been asked by 3 different individual
people on this subject. This change would allow a narrower, for example 6 foot side yard, instead of an 8 foot side yard.
It could be included in the R1-A zone and would be allowed in lieu of the zero lot line.
CALL FOR ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Scott Wessel motioned to adjourn. Commissioner Robert Taylor
seconded the motion. All in favor – the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
