W. Beck and Associates. At the information meeting, everyone joined in the pledge of allegiance to the flag, and the invocation was offered by Councilman Rowberry. As the first item of business in the Regular Meeting, the minutes of the July 19, J.978, meeting and the minutes of the Special Meeting on Aug. 2, 1978, were approved as prepared. Mayor Wehmann pointed out that a resolution regarding water, sewer, and garbage rates should be ready for study shortly, and that the City Attorney is to prepare an ordinance to create a Professional Business Zone now that the hearing process has been completed on that subject. An cXD"Y'ession of' appreciation 1,ra,s extended to Councilwoman Dille, her husband, and family for their special efforts in making the annual Ammam Days celebration on August 11 and 12 one of the best ever held. It was mentioned that approximately 250 people took advantage of the opportunity to view the heat-loss maps which were put on display by Utah Power & Light Company as part of the Ammon Days activities. As a matter of record, Mayor Wehmann noted that the Fire District has retlITned the tanker truck to be housed at the City Building, with a request that Ammon respond to all structural fires in the District, and it was recommended by Mayor Wehmann that the Cit~ fire truck be dispatched to all house fires within the immediate outlying area, subJect to the approval of the Fire Chief. Mayor Wehmann also reported that the Mutual Aid Agreement with the Fire District will not be terminated, and that he has an appoint- ment for an interview on this subject so there should be a newspaper article coming out soon.
