Council Minutes 06/25/1974 Ut2 ~y on the pump for Well #1 so it is back in operation now. The matter of a pass to the swimming pool for the Fire Chief and his family was brought up by Councilman Hirschi. The feeling of the Council was that this might open up for similar requests from others on volunteer committees, etc.. Councilman Hirschi moved that the Volunteer Fire Department be allowed to have an annual free evening at the swimming pool with them making the arrangements. The motion was seconded by Council- man Cheney; voting was all in favor; motion carried. Upon inquiry by Councilman Swensen, Engineer Benton explained that nothing further is to be done on the purchase of property for a city park until notice is received from the State Parks Department. I Mention was made of outdoor dances which are scheduled at the tennis courts and which will require that arrangements be made for parking space and extra patrolling. Claims were approved for payment. Turnbow, with the following City_Officials present: Mayor Keith C. Turnbow Clerk Deon Hemingway Councilman Russell N. Swensen Attorney W. Joe Anderson Councilman Gerald B. Cheney Engineer David E. Other matters of business included: Zoning variances granted as recom- mended by the Planning and Zoning Commission Variance Committee - sideyard of 4 feet to property line for garage at 1960 Curlew Dr. (Norval Conner) in an R-l Zone; sideyards of 10 feet and Ilfeet 6 inches for house on Brookfield Lane (Gary Davidson) in RP Zone.
