g Commission Chairman Jim Southwick inquired concerning who is re-
Ie for the drainage of surface water in subdivisions, and was informed that

divisi ns are approved, the developer is asked to make plans for taking care of water
draina e. For instance, the Southwick Addition plans as drawn up by Engineer Benton

stake out to this effect. The land is still there for this drainage even though the lot
sizes ave been adjusted.

Counc Iman Cheney will meet with officials of the Ammon Junior High School in the
near f ture to make arrangements for gymnasium time for City-sponsored basketball

Attor ey Smith reviewed the procedure for hearings and passing of a recodification
ordin nee as outlined by Att::>rney Anderson in a letter addressed to Councilman
Richa dson and Planning Commission Chairman Jim Southwick. Especially noted
was t at publication of the complete recodified code is not necessary and a public
heari g is not required but recommended. However, a public hearing on the Zoning
Ordin nee is required with 15 days notice to be given. This hearing could be at a
regul r council meeting, and at the same meeting the City could proceed with the
readi g of the Recodification Ordinance, which should be read at three (3) separate

ille County Sheriff Blaine Skinner was present to explain some proposals per-

service which is being provided at this time, and it was recommended that

Reve ue Sharing Act, with half of it to be received this year. Councilmen were
reque ted to make recommendations about how this money can be used to the best
