7-1-1: INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE ADOPTED:
(A) The approved edition of the 2018 International Building Code as adopted by the State of
Idaho or the Idaho Building Code Board, together with any amendments or revisions to
the International Building Code made by the Idaho Building Code Board through the
negotiated rulemaking process, is adopted as the official building code of the City of
Ammon:
(B) Code on File: One (1) copy of the International Building Code, 2018 Edition, shall be
duly certified and retained by the City Clerk.
7-1-2: FEES: Fees for building permits and services related to this chapter shall be
established by resolution of the City Council, which may be amended and modified from time to
time by resolution.
7-1- 3: PENALTY: Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed a
misdemeanor and shall be subject to penalties prescribed for such violations under section 1-4-1
of this code. In addition, a fine and daily fee shall be charged for failure to obtain a certificate of
occupancy as required by this code and the International Building Code. Said fine shall be as
adopted by resolution of the City Council as provided for by ordinance.
