7-9-1: INTERNATIONAL FUEL CODE ADOPTED:
(A) Fuel Code Adopted: The International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, published by the
International Code Council and as adopted by the State of Idaho, is hereby adopted as an
official code of the City, including all appendices, except those portions as are deleted,
modified, or amended by the provisions of this chapter.
(B) Code on File: One (1) copy of the International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, shall be
duly certified and retained by the City Clerk.
7-9-2: AMENDMENTS TO THE ADOPTED CODE: Amendments to Adopted Codes: That the
following amendments shall be applicable to the adopted International Fuel Gas Code:
a. Section 109.1 of the International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, shall be amended to read as
follows:
109.1 Application for appeal. A person shall have the right to appeal a decision of the code
official to the board of appeals. An application for appeal shall be based on a claim that the
true intent of this code or the rules legally adopted thereunder, have been incorrectly
interpreted. The application shall be filed on a form obtained from the code official within
twenty (20) days after the notice was served.
7-9-3: FEES: Fees for building permits and services related to this chapter shall be established by
resolution of the City Council, which may be amended and modified from time to time by resolution.
7-9-4: VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES: Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be
deemed a misdemeanor and shall be subject to penalties prescribed for such violations under section 1-4-1
of this code.
