1-1-1:
TITLE: This codification of the general ordinances of the City of Ammon
is declared to be the official City Code of the City of Ammon, and shall be known as:
CODIFIED ORDINANCES
OF THE
CITY OF AMMON
Any reference to the number of any section herein shall be understood to refer to the
position of the same number, to its appropriate heading, and to the general penalty
clause relating thereto when the reference is made to this Code by title in any legal
document.
1-1-2:
ACCEPTANCE: Any official copy of this code shall be received without
further proof in all courts and in all administrative tribunals of this state as the ordinances
of a general and permanent effect of the city.
1-1-3:
AMENDMENTS: Any ordinance amending this Code shall set forth the
Chapter, Title, and Section number of the section or sections to be amended. All such
ordinances shall comply with the provisions of this Code and Chapter 9, Title 50, Idaho
Code, regarding passage, execution, and publication of ordinances. All such
amendments of ordinances shall be published as required and appropriate copies
prepared for insertion in this Code.
1-1-4:
MAINTENANCE OF CITY CODE: The City Clerk shall promptly forward
a copy of each page of each newly adopted or amended ordinances as codified to each
person having an official copy of the City Code. The City Clerk may collect a fee for each
copy of the City Code and an annual fee for maintenance thereof, provided such fees
shall be established by resolution or ordinance duly passed by the City Council.
